Install the Chrome extension

Or install it directly

Unzip the download
Double-click the file. You get a folder called grammarazi-extension. Keep it somewhere it will stay, such as your Documents folder.

Open the extensions page
Type chrome://extensions into Chrome's address bar and press Enter.

Turn on Developer mode
Use the switch in the top right corner of the page.

Load the folder
Click Load unpacked and choose the grammarazi-extension folder.

Pin Grammarazi
Click the puzzle piece in Chrome's toolbar, then the pin next to Grammarazi.

Sign in
Click the Grammarazi icon and choose Sign in. Then type in any text box and mistakes are underlined as you write.

Chrome loads the extension from the folder, so moving or deleting it removes Grammarazi.
A directly installed copy does not update itself. Download it again when a new version is out, or switch to the Chrome Web Store version once it is live.
It also works in Edge, Brave and Arc: open their extensions page (edge://extensions in Edge) and follow the same steps.
Chrome may show a reminder that a developer-mode extension is installed. That is normal for any extension installed this way.
