01The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and BITMINDS INNOVATIONS PRIVATE LIMITED ("we", "us"), which operates Grammarazi, its web editor and its browser extension (together, "the service"). By using the service you accept these terms and our privacy policy. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
02The service
Grammarazi checks text you give it for spelling, grammar and punctuation mistakes in American, British, Canadian, Australian or Indian English, and suggests fixes you can accept or ignore. It uses rules and AI models provided by third parties.
We are improving the service and may add, change or remove features. It is offered as an early access product and may sometimes be unavailable.
03Your account
- You must be at least 13 to use Grammarazi, and if you are under 18 you need a parent's or guardian's permission.
- Give a real email address you control. You are responsible for activity on your account; keep access to your email and Google account secure.
- One account per person. Do not share accounts or create accounts to get around limits.
- Tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.
04Plans, payment and refunds
Grammarazi has a free plan and a paid Pro plan. Each plan has monthly limits on checks and AI rewrites, shown on the pricing page. We may change limits to keep the service fair and running, and we will tell Pro subscribers before a change that reduces what they pay for.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Pro renews automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account page; you keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for, and you will not be charged again.
If you are not happy with Pro, ask for a refund within 14 days of a payment and it will be refunded in full. The refund policy at grammarazi.com/refunds explains how.
Prices include tax where it applies. We will show any price change before it takes effect, and you will never be charged without agreeing to it.
05Your writing
You keep all rights to the text you submit. You give us permission to process it only as needed to check it and return suggestions, including sending it to the AI providers described in our privacy policy. We do not claim ownership of it, keep it, or use it to train AI models.
You are responsible for what you submit and must have the right to submit it. Do not submit information you are not allowed to share.
06Acceptable use
Do not:
- use the service to break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
- send automated or excessive requests, scrape the service, or try to get around usage limits;
- try to break, probe or overload our systems, or access them in ways we do not offer;
- copy, resell or build a competing product from the service or its suggestions at scale;
- reverse engineer the service, except where the law allows it.
07Suggestions can be wrong
Suggestions come from automated rules and AI models and can be incorrect, incomplete or unsuitable for your purpose. They are not professional, legal, academic or editorial advice. Review them before accepting, and check anything important yourself. You are responsible for the final text and how you use it, including following your school's or employer's rules on writing tools.
08The browser extension
The extension works in text boxes on other websites. Those websites are not ours, and how they behave is outside our control. You can switch the extension off for any site, or entirely, from its menu. Use it in line with the rules of the sites you visit.
09Our property
The service, its software, design and the Grammarazi name and marks belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you a personal, non-exclusive right to use the service as offered, and nothing more.
10Third-party services
Signing in with Google, AI checking and hosting depend on third parties, whose own terms may apply to your use of their parts. We are not responsible for their services, but we choose them carefully and describe them in our privacy policy.
11Ending the agreement
You can stop using Grammarazi and delete your account at any time from your account page. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or others at risk, and will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it. We may also stop offering the service, giving reasonable notice where we can.
12Disclaimer
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, including that it will be accurate, uninterrupted or error free, or fit for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be limited.
13Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data or reputational harm arising from your use of the service or reliance on its suggestions. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and ₹1,000.
This does not limit liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
14Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and for changes that materially affect you we will tell you by email or in the product before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
15Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any problem informally. If we cannot, disputes will be decided by the courts of India, without removing any right you have to bring a claim in the courts where you live.
